Warragul RSL Pipes and Drums Burns Night Supper

The Warragul RSL will conduct a Burns Night Supper on Saturday the 31st of January 2026.

This is the main fundraising event for the year for the Pipes and Drums.

Funds raised will go towards the purchase of uniforms and equipment for the ever growing Warragul RSL Pipes and Drums.

A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns, the author of many Scots poems. The suppers are normally held on or near the poet's birthday, 25 January, known as Burns Night.

The catering capacity of your RSL is limited, where possible a vegetarian/gluten free/vegan options will be offered, but cannot be guaranteed.

Meal service will commence at 6.30 pm. Guests to be seated by 6.15 pm.

The menu for Saturday, 31st January 2026 is:

  • Entree - On each table will there will be a center plate with Haggis on a bed of mashed potato.
  • Mains - Traditional Scottish Beef Stew served on a bed of mashed potato accompanied by Bannocks Bear (traditional Scottish Bread) 
  • Dessert - Cranachan (a traditional Scottish dessert)
  • Tea and Coffee
  • Cost - $30 (profits from the night go towards the purchase of the uniforms and equipment for the Warragul RSL Pipes and Drums Band)
  • Entertainment - in addition to the traditional piping in of the Haggis, there will be musical entertainment.

The meal service is restricted to members and their guests.
